Rylee Sheehan
February 6, 2014 - December 29, 2014
Rylee Sheehan, 10-1/2 months old, was born Feb. 6, 2014 and passed away Dec. 29, 2014.
Rylee packed more joy and miracles into her short life than most people experience in decades.
Born with an extremely rare condition known as Heterotaxy, Rylee didn’t let several complex surgeries of her heart and intestines keep her from smiling and bringing joy to everyone who met her. She received a heart transplant at just 8 months old and as the youngest Heterotaxy patient ever to have done so, has made medical history.
Her wild ride has inspired thousands who have rejoiced and now mourn with us all.
Her joyful spirit and active temperament earned her the nickname “Wiggle” and she especially loved dancing and “wiggling” to the “Frozen” movie soundtrack.
Her contagious laugh and huge smile reflected her resilient spirit and are deeply missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her devoted mommy, Stephanie Miller, and loving daddy, Steven Sheehan.
Services for Rylee will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 10 at Messinger Payson Funeral Home.
