HARN, Charles Harold

Peoria Journal Star (Peoria IL) Wednesday, July 16, 2014 Canton--Charles Harold Harn, 78, of Canton, Ill., passed away at 7:17pm Saturday, July 12, 2014, at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria. He was born June 8, 1936, in Canton to Charles A and Audrey (Kanouse) Harn. Charlie married Bonnie Ellis on Jan 1, 1960, in Summum, Ill. She survives along with their daughter, LuAnn (Mark) Kimbrell of Canton; son, Michael (Tina) Harn of Wickenburg, Ariz; two grandchildren, Nick Schall and Shallen Harn; brother, Alan Harn of Lewiston; and sister-in-law, Ruth Ann Harn of Canton. Charlie worked for Mid-Century Telephone, retiring in 1997. Cremation rites have been accorded. A memorial service will be held today, July 16, at 6pm at Murphy-Sedgwick Memorial Home in Canton with visitation two hours prior. The Rev Glenn Nestlerode will officiate. Memorials may be made to the Salvation Army or First Christian Church Bus Ministry.
