BECKER, Chester H. (Chet)

Chester H. "Chet" Becker, formerly of Sun City, died on April 5, 2006. He was born in Tremont, Illinois, on November 23, 1906. He is preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy M. Cook of Pekin, IL. and son Richard Becker of Glendale, AZ. He is survived by his son, Jim of Surprise, AZ, four grandchildren and nine great-grand-children. He was retired from Growmark Inc. after 37 years of employment. He was the recipient of three national and five regional awards for distinguished service to American agriculture. A memorial service was held at Casa Del Rio, 12751 N. Plaza Del Rio Blvd., Peoria, Az. Advantage Maryvale Mortuary. The Arizona Republic on 4/9/2006.
