Cathy Jo (Behm) Bettisworth, age 62, of Bullhead City, Ariz. passed away
Wednesday, December 31, 2014. She passed away at home with her family
after a brief battle with cancer.
Cathy Jo was born April 9, 1952 in Alliance, Neb. to the late Harold and
Mary (VanHouten) Behm. She graduated from Alliance High School in 1970
and later that year she married Bob Olson of Hemingford and to this
union two children were born.
Cathy Jo was employed by the Burlington Northern Railroad for 33 years
and retired in 2012. She was then able to fulfill her lifelong dream of
retiring to Arizona with her husband, Dale Bettisworth.
Cathy Jo treasured her family and friends, but most of all loved to have
fun and made sure those around her were having fun as well.
She was preceded in death by parents, Harold and Mary (VanHouten) Behm;
grandson, Joshua Reece; sister, Dorothy (Frank) Duncan; and brother,
Edward Behm.
She is survived by her husband, Dale Bettisworth of Bullhead City,
Ariz.; son, Scott (Monica) Olson of Salem, Ore.; daughter, Lori (Devlin)
Reece of McCook, Neb.; grandchildren, Tyler Olson, Kyle Olson, Alexis
Olson, Allison Reece, Jake Olson, Keagan Reece, Zayla Olson, Zachary
Olson, Cody Poindexter, Mike Poindexter, Jakob Townsend and Amanada
Cisneros; siblings, Dennis (Teresa) Behm, Richard (Pat) Behm, Kenny
(Marilyn) Behm, Carolyn (Dean) Harris; great- grandchildren and numerous
nieces and nephews.
Services will be announced at a later date.
