Alice M. Hill, age 86, passed away on Wednesday, December 31, 2014 in
Bullhead City, Ariz. She was born to Ivan and Rose Jones in Anaconda,
Mont. on August 5, 1928.
Alice graduated from Anaconda High School with the class of 1946. Before
moving to Golden Shores, Ariz. in 1983 she was employed for 25 years as
a Secretary for the Carpenters Local Union 1815, in Santa Ana, Calif.
Alice was a long time member of Eagles Auxiliary 2599 in Needles, Calif.
and VFW Auxiliary 6306 in Golden Shores, Ariz.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl, who passed away October
3, 2001; her parents; brothers, Ed Jones and W.L. (Red) Jones; sisters,
Edna Rupple and Lois Pellegrini; and grandson, Jason Thrift.
Alice is survived by two sons, Michael (Evelyn) Smith of Tustin, Calif.
and Wade Smith of Bullhead City, Ariz.; two daughters, Sandra Berlotti
of Bullhead City, Ariz. and Margaret Thrift of Meadview; stepdaughter,
Sheila Jenkins of Rochester, Wash.; stepson, Charles (Renee) Hill of
Elsinore, Calif.; 15 beautiful grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren;
and many neices, nephews and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 17,
2015 at Fraternal Order of Eagles, 729 Front St., Needles, CA.
