MOON, Edith Kay


Mohave Daily News, Mohave Valley, AZ - Published in Mohave Daily News Online from Jan. 13 to Jan. 20, 2015 - Edith Kay Moon, age 73, a 15-year resident of Bullhead City, Ariz. passed away on Saturday, January 3, 2014 in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was born on August 19, 1941 in Cheyenne, Wyo. Edith worked for more than 40 years in retail, including more than 10 years at the JC Penney store in Bullhead City where she actually married her husband, DeVar in the shoe department. She was a devoted mother and grandmother. Family gatherings included card games and cooking. She and her husband DeVar Moon enjoyed RV trips. She was preceded in death by husband, DeVar Moon; and daughter, Penny Domire. She is survived by her daughter, Lori (Rob) Gardner of Salt Lake City, Utah; sister, Montie (Tom) Ryan of Las Vegas, Nev.; grandchildren, Matt (Maha) Gardner of Chicago, Ill., Katie (Jason) Boone, Andy Domire, Kyle (Kaylee) Domire, all of Salt Lake City, Utah; and two great- grandchildren. The family will be celebrating her life privately.
