Harriett Griffin, 88, of Globe, Ariz., passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2015 in Mesa, Ariz. She was born July 26, 1926 to Harry and Grace Harvey in Denver Colo.
She met and married Frank T. Griffin in Eugene, Ore., to whom she was married for 35 years. Harriett was a piano teacher at Sherwood School of Music in Globe for 45 years. She was with the Gem and Mineral Society in Globe. She loved being creative and spending her time working with ceramics, sewing, needlework, gardening and painting. She loved her animals and was loved by her music students.
Harriett was loved and will be missed by her daughters, Cheryl Griffin-Cheng of Gilbert, Ariz., and Sandra Rock of Sedona, Ariz. and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren who survive her.
She was previously deceased by her parents, Harry and Grace Harvey; her husband, Frank T. Griffin; son, Ted Griffin and daughter, Theresa “Teri” Griffin.
Memorial services will be on Saturday, Jan. 17, 2015 at Bulman Miles Funeral Services in Globe, Ariz. at 1 p.m.
