The Arizona Republic March 31, 2001 Virginia C Lara, T.O. Carm., 79, of Phoenix, died on March 29, 2001. She is preceded in death by her husband James Lara, Sr. a daughter Martha and a son Johnny M. Surviving are daughters Therese Lonergan (Sean), Mary Goodman (Don), sons David R. (Sally), James, Jr. (Kathy), Rodney S. (Connie), Phillip C., sisters Suzanne Ross (Rudolph), Colette Westervelt (Mark), brother Thomas Wadlow and 15 grandchildren. She was a member of the 3rd Order Secular of the Carmel of the Sacred Heart. Visitation with a Rosary at Mercer's Chapel in the Garden, 1541 E. Thomas Road. A Funeral Mass at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 1954 N. 24th Street, Phoenix, AZ 85008.
