James "J.R." Urry, 58, of Mesa Arizona, and former long time Salt Lake City resident, passed away Saturday, December 29, 2001 at Valley Lutheran Hospital in Mesa after a lengthy battle with cancer. 

Mr. Urry, a sales professional, was born in Salt Lake City, moving to Arizona in the early 1970's. 

J.R. is survived by his wife, Barbara; children, Cindi Crossland and Jim & Roy of Salt Lake City, Regan Busby & Brittania Dickson of Mesa; siblings, Keith, Lynn & Virginia Ann Mosley of Mesa and Richard of SLC and 8 grandchildren. 

Funeral services at First Baptist Church of Mesa, 4801 E. Brown Rd., with burial at the Mesa City Cemetery, 1212 N. Center Street.
