HAY, II, Martin Lee (Marty)

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 01/16/2015 Martin Lee Hay II, 63, resident of Eagar died Jan. 13, 2015. He was born Feb. 11, 1951, in Houston, Texas, the son of Martin Lee Hay I and Billy June (Miller) Hay. Marty partnered with his father in the retail industry in Albuquerque, N.M., Mesquite, Texas, and Lakeside and Springerville for many years. His secondary business and lifelong passion was comic book collecting and selling. Marty loved the outdoors and spending time in our beautiful White Mountains. He was an animal lover, avid reader and loved to travel. He will be missed. Marty is survived by his sister, Beth Conlin; nieces April Plowman and Chelsae Hay; nephews John Conlin and Zachary Hay; great-niece Amelia Plowman; and great-nephew Logan Plowman. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother George Ralph Hay. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 16, at the Eagar Cemetery. Burnham Mortuary of Eagar handled arrangements.
