KING, Charles Gordon (Charlie)

Vistoso Funeral Home, Oro Valley, Arizona Charlie King September 25, 1930 - December 9, 2014 Charles Gordon King, 84, of SaddleBrooke passed away December 9, 2014. Charlie was born September 25, 1930 in Brooklyn, New York. A native of New Jersey, he graduated from Rutgers University with a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering. An Aerospace and Civil Engineer, he retired after twenty-eight years. He has been a SaddleBrooke resident for fifteen years. Charlie is survived by his loving wife of 48 years Letty King; son and daughter-in-law Kevin Charles and Manja King; daughter and son-in-law Tricia and Scott Blechman; and two lovely grandchildren, Max and Reece. A man of few words and endless kindness. Known by few but loved by all. The family suggests donations to The Children's Fund for Gycogen Storage Disease Research. A Celebration of Life will be held 11:00 am Saturday January 10, 2014 at Vistoso Funeral Home.
