Robert John "Rob" Mueller, 80, of Prescott, Arizona, born July 23, 1934 n Forest Park, Illinois, passed away Jan. 9, 2015.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Jan. 29, 2015 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 150 Fleury, Prescott, Arizona.

Robert John "Rob" Mueller, also known as "Muellertime," passed away at his home Friday, Jan. 9, 2015, with his wife Helen, son David and daughter-in-law Krista by his side.
Rob was born on July 23, 1934, in Forest Park, Illinois, the son of Harry and Esther (Triebes) Mueller. He attended York High School and graduated from Valparaiso University, Valparaiso, Indiana, in 1956. Rob was a faithful member of the TEKE fraternity, the Golf Club at Prescott Lakes, and Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Prescott, Arizona.
Rob worked for New York Life for 34 years starting in Chicago, with promotions to Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the home office in Manhattan, and back to Chicago in 1978. Rob had a wonderful career with New York Life, finally retiring in 1992 as a pension field vice president.
Rob married the love of his life and soulmate Helen (Wolf) Mueller in 1990. Rob and Helen traveled the U.S. and many international countries, playing golf and appreciating various cultures, and collected art from their travels. Helen and Rob enjoyed retirement to Tucson in 1994 and in 2002 moved to Prescott to continue their love for the good life and the game of golf at the Prescott Lakes Golf Club.
Rob leaves his wife Helen; three sons, Scott (Debbie) of Parker, Colorado, David (Krista) of Park City, Utah, and Jonathan of Oakland, California; three grandchildren, Jennifer, Heather and Brian; four great-grandsons, Noah, Logan, Will and Carter; and one brother, Charles (Lani) of Broomfield, Colorado. Rob was a loving father, husband and grandfather, and the best friend to many people.
Rob was charismatic, a mentor and an incredible communicator. He enjoyed his life immensely and touched so many people throughout his lifetime. He will be so terribly missed by his family and friends.

Funeral Mass will be 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 29, 2015, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 150 Fleury St., Prescott.
