KUHN, Ronald Greg (Ron)

The Arizona Republic December 31, 2000 Ronald Greg Kuhn, 57, passed away December 29, 2000. He is survived by his wife, Phyllis; son Chris; daughter Jill; and his parents, George and Addie Abbey. One of his great joys was his grandchildren, Steven, Taron and Taylor. His son Ronald Andrew passed on in 1988. He was born in Lusk, Wyoming, and loved the West. He earned his doctorate in Choral Conducting at the University of Washington and held the position of Director of Music for the University Congregational Church, Seattle. He led the youth choir of Great Falls, Montana on a six-week tour throughout Europe. He enhanced the musical program including a choir tour of the great Cathedrals of Europe. In 1980 Ron developed his company, Keys to Excellence, Inc. dedicated to helping troubled youth, families and adults. For the past 20 years, he has written several curricula and trained organizations nationally and internationally.
