EDMOND, Frances Mae (Fran)

The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona, Wednesday, January 21, 2015 Frances Mae Edmond, 84, of Prescott, Arizona, passed away peacefully while watching Franz Lehar's opera "The Merry Widow" on Saturday, Feb. 17, 2015, at Yavapai Community College. While Fran didn't particularly want an obituary, her surviving daughter, Terry Hill of Scottsdale, Arizona, didn't think she would mind the community knowing she was happy and relatively healthy to the very end. So, raise a glass of bourbon or red wine and salute the passing of a woman who truly enjoyed her life! A memorial service will be 1:30 p.m. Feb. 11, 2015, at the First Baptist Church of Prescott in the main sanctuary. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in her memory be made to the Salvation Army. Arrangements were entrusted to the care of the Hampton Funeral Home of Prescott.
