She was born May 9, 1927 in Cotton Center, Texas to Bernice Dodson and Ruth Moore Dodson. She is survived by her husband Eldon "Spud" Stratton; 3 sisters, Alta Bea Hartdorn, Mary Morehead, and Virginia Long; 3 sons, Thomas and Patricia Meeks, Kenneth and Judy Meeks, and Robert and Jeri Meeks; 9 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. Also her Stratton family; daughter, Sherry and Merlin Hancock and son, Russ and Felicia Stratton; 8 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 19 great-great grandchildren and 2 deceased great- great grandchildren. Services will be held Saturday, January 24, 2015 at 1:00 PM in the Main Street Chapel in Snowflake, Az. She was preceded in death by two great-great grandchildren. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 24, in the Main Street Chapel in Snowflake.
