Anne Ruth "Peggy" Stratton, beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend passed away Friday, January 16, 2015 in Chandler, Az. She was born May 9, 1927 in Cotton Center, Texas to Bernice Dodson and Ruth Moore Dodson.
She is survived by her husband Eldon "Spud" Stratton; 3 sisters, Alta Bea Hartdorn, Mary Morehead, and Virginia Long; 3 sons, Thomas and Patricia Meeks, Kenneth and Judy Meeks, and Robert and Jeri Meeks; 9 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. Also her Stratton family; daughter, Sherry and Merlin Hancock and son, Russ and Felicia Stratton; 8 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 19 great-great grandchildren and 2 deceased great- great grandchildren.
Services will be held Saturday, January 24, 2015 at 1:00 PM in the Main Street Chapel in Snowflake, Az.
A viewing will be held on January 23 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Owens Livingston Mortuary, 84 E. 19 S. in Snowflake, with an additional viewing on Saturday morning at 12 noon.

Anne Ruth ‘Peggy’ Stratton
Beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend, Anne Ruth “Peggy” Stratton died Friday, Jan. 16, 2015, in Chandler. She was born May 9, 1927, in Cotton Center, Texas, to Bernice Dodson and Ruth Moore Dodson.
She is survived by her husband, Eldon “Spud” Stratton; three sisters, Alta Bea Hartdorn, Mary Morehead, and Virginia Long; three sons, Thomas and Patricia Meeks, Kenneth and Judy Meeks and Robert and Jeri Meeks; nine grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. Also her Stratton family, including daughter Sherry and Merlin Hancock and son Russ and Felicia Stratton; eight grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and 19 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two great-great grandchildren.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 24, in the Main Street Chapel in Snowflake. A viewing will be held from 5-7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 23, at Owens Livingston Mortuary, 84 E. 19 S., in Snowflake with an additional viewing Saturday at 12 p.m.
