Posted in Arizona Daily Star, February 28, 2013 EDGAR, Thomas McKenzie "Tim", was called home by his Heavenly Father on February 26, 2013 after a brief illness. Thomas was born on May 8, 1951 in Wyandotte, Michigan. He served in the U.S. Army being stationed at Ft. Meyers, VA, Old Guard Company. He worked as a union carpenter for over 40 years in Tucson and Phoenix. He was a devoted husband, brother and uncle. Thomas was preceded in death by his parents, High and Evelyn Edgar; brother, Patrick and grandparents, Thomas and Mary Edgar, William and Clarice McKinzie. Survived by wife of 26 years, Joni Jo; brothers, Robert (Donna) of Silver City, NM and Jonathon (Dorothy); sisters, Sally Love and Kathleen Edgar; brother-in-law, Jack Wester, all of Tucson; sister-in-law, Jennifer (Sal) Martinez of Morenci, AZ; eight nephews, five nieces, two great-nephews and two great-nieces as well as many other family members. Visitation Friday, March 1, 2013, 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at EVERGREEN MORTUARY, N. Oracle & W. Miracle Mile.
