Thomas L. Miles, 67, of Florence died Dec. 28, 2000 in Florence.
Graveside service in Greenhills Memorial Park in Rancho Palos Verdes, Calif., with Dr. Richard Freeman officiating.
Mr. Miles was born Sept. 11, 1933 in Oak Creek, Colo., to Carl and Carrie Miles. He was a route salesman of fuel before retirement and was quiet and loving with a great sense of humor. He was known as an artistic man with much integrity.
He loved riding, repairing and building motorcycles and was a member of Gold Wing Club, participating in many charitable causes. He was an active volunteer at the Dorothy Nolan Senior Center until a year ago, when he became ill.
Survivors include his wife, Linda J.; a daughter, Melody Miles of Garden Grove, Calif.; a stepdaughter, Cinnamon Rowe of Lomita, Calif.; a son, Keith Miles of Torrance, Calif.; a stepson, R. Todd Stagnitto of Lomita; two sisters, Lavonne Andrew of Black Canyon City and Darlene Krelovich of Florence; a brother, Harold Miles of Klamath Falls, Ore.; and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Patty, in 1992.
