Fran was born April 11, 1950 in Wickenburg to Albert & Irene Nord. She was a veteran and worked in the insurance industry with Aetna of years. Erickson, 64, passed away Jan. 19, 2015, in Wickenburg. She was born April 11, 1950, in Wickenburg to Albert and Irene Nord. Fran was raised in her earlier years in Salome and the family moved to the Phoenix area in the 1960s where she graduated from high school. She was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and later earned a bachelor’s and master’s degree from East Texas State University. Fran worked in the insurance industry with Aetna for several years, retiring in 2002. She is survived by her husband Arden; and mother Irene Nord of Salome; sister Alice Taylor of Alabama; brother Jerry Nord (Karen) of Salome; sister Paula Bowers (Dennis) of Oregon; brother Albert Nord Jr. (Cory) of California. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, Jan. 31, at 11:00 a.m. at the Centennial Community Center in Wenden. Memorial contributions in Fran’s name may be made to the Grace Community Church in Salome or to Centennial Community Center.
