Maurice G. Cox, 72, of Albany, Oregon, a winter visitor to Casa Grande, died Dec. 27, 2000 at Mayo Clinic Hospital in Phoenix.
Mr. Cox was born April 8, 1928 in Palco, Texas, to Clarence G. and Grace (Adamson) Cox.
He was a millwright for Teledyn-Wah Chang for 20 years before retirement. A winter resident of Casa Grande the past seven years, he had been in town for three months and attended St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Darlene F.; a daughter, Janice Kuljis of Bellingham, Wash.; two sons, Jack Cox of Albany and Doug Cox of Hutchinson, Minn.; a sister, Faye Stovell of Albany; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Gary Cox, in 1993.
No service was held at Mr. Cox's request.
