Elizabeth Ann "Betty" Murphy Jones, 100, formerly of Casa Grande, died Dec. 3, 2000 in Yuma. 

Following cremation, memorials were held at various places by family members. 

Mrs. Jones was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Casa Grande. She and her late husband, Harold C., enjoyed many years of traveling and returning at times to be with friends in Casa Grande. At the start of their winter trip in 1978, he died in Las Cruces, N.M. 

Survivors include a daughter, Carol J. Corrie of Benson; a son, William R. Jones of Tucson; seven grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Elizabeth J. Stewart, in 1997.
