MARION, Louis

Arizona Weekly Journal Miner, Prescott, Arizona Territory July 5, 1893, page 3, column 5 Louis Marion, son of the late J. H. Marion, died on Saturday evening after a brief illness. He was brought in from Chino Valley a short time since, suffering with a severe sore throat, said, by some, to be diphtheria, and denied by others. He had apparently recovered from this, when his kidneys became affected, resulting in his death. He was 17 years old, and was a bright, intelligent boy, beloved by all who knew him. He was buried yesterday, Sunday, afternoon at 4 o'clock. Transcriber's note: Louis is buried at the Masonic Cemetery in Prescott, Arizona with no headstone marking his exact place of burial.
