The Arizona Republic December 30, 2000 Brian Everett Pettingell, an Internet Engineer of Scottsdale Arizona formerly of Greenville, Texas, passed away December 26, 2000. He was born in Albuquerque, NM on January 9, 1974 to Robert Ogden Pettingell and Linda Weaver. He graduated with honors from Greenville High School and attended Texas A & M Commerce on a track scholarship. He also attended Arizona State University. He was a Phi Kappa Alpha and a Presbyterian Church member. He is survived by his father: Robert & Linda (Curtis) Pettingell, Greenville mother: Linda Weaver Pettingell, Grand Prairie grandmothers: Hazel Weaver of Palestine, Barbara Pettingell of Albuquerque, NM and Pat Curtis, Greenville; brothers: Ralph David Pettingell, Greenville; and sisters Tracy Lynn Laughlin, Minden, Lousisiana. He was preceded in death by grandfather: Otto Everett Weaver, Robert C. Pettingell, and Ralph F. Curtis. Visitation at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home. Services Coker-Mathews Funeral Home with Rev. William C. Hunt officiating. Burial in Lakeside Memorial Park, Quinlan, TX. Pallbearers: Tom Curtis, Steve Curtis, Creg Laughlin, William Weaver, Chris Winters, and Ralph Pettingell.
