The AZ Republic December 30, 2000 Betty Lou Reed, 76, of Phoenix AZ, passed away at home Dec. 27, 2000. Born in Crete, Nebraska, to Frank and Elga Wild on June 1, 1924. Betty worked 50 years in the medical profession, including 28 years as executive assistant to J. Allen Ginn, Jr. M.D., Administrator of Doctor's Hospital. As a teenager, she sang with the Four Scores Quartet, traveling with the Gus Arnheim Dance Band until WWII. A 40-year resident of Phoenix, Betty is survived by Whitie, her husband of 53 years; son, Ron and wife, Charlet; two grandsons: Scott and wife, Lorise and their children, Casey and Courtney and Rick and his wife, Sherry. Memorial Services at Green Acres Mortuary, 401 N. Hayden Rd., Scottsdale.
