The AZ Republic December 30, 2000 George Robert Souders, 80, of Mesa AZ, passed away December 27, 2000. Born March 19, 1920 in Topeka, KS, he was a World War II U.S. Navy Veteran and worked as a Civil Service Foreman. He is survived by his wife, Betty Souders; daughters, Sharon Kearney, Sandra Geesey and Cynthia Albright; son, Doug Souders; sister, Arlene Sedlachek; brother, Frank Souders; and grandchildren: Brian, Marisa, Caleb, Kerri and John. Visitation at Melcher's Chapel of the Roses, 43 S. Stapley Dr., Mesa.
