Norvel Owens Mortuary, Flagstaff, Arizona Jay Klaus Falz (December 3, 1958 - January 13, 2015) Jay Klaus Falz, 56 of Flagstaff, passed away too soon, on January 13, 2015. He was born December 3, 1958 in Ludwigsburg, Germany, to Kurt and Hildegard Falz. Jay became a proud citizen of the United States on March 4th, 1994. He is survived by his loving wife Donna and his two brave and beautiful daughters, Cheyenne and Denver. Jay lived a big life. He believed his greatest achievement were his two wonderful daughters. Jay encouraged them to dream and showed them the value of determination in going after their goals. He loved to travel the world and the thrill of riding a Ducati motorcycle on the open road. Jay took joy in hosting fabulous parties, which he presided over like the Great Gatsby. He had a knack for finding great restaurants in the oddest places, and endlessly searched for the perfect cup of espresso—when he wasn’t making his own. Jay was a magnanimous human being: an instant friend to everyone he met, he possessed a truly generous heart. We will miss him, his Jayisms and his exceptional humor. A party in honor of Jay will be held Sunday, January 25th 5-9pm at the Firecreek Coffee Company, 22 E. Route 66, Flagstaff, AZ. Please bring your favorite story about Jay.
