The AZ Republic December 29, 2000 Maria Teresa De Jesus V. Puerta, 85, of Goodyear, passed away December 25, 2000. Ms. Puerta was born July 20, 1915 in Tubac, Arizona. She left us to reunite with her son, Joe Henry Valenzuela. Leaving behind her devoted daughter: Mary Helen Palomo, 7 grand-daughters, 5 grandsons, 8 great-grandchildren, sisters: Guadalupe Escelante and Elvira Mercado. Visitation Crystal Rose Funeral Home, 9155 W. Van Buren, Tolleson, AZ. Services at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, 1414 S. 17th Ave., Phoenix, AZ.
