MCCRARY, Maria M.

West Valley View April 12, 2000 Maria M. McCrary, a homemaker born in Cananea, Sonora, Mexico, Jan. 3, 1920, died April 3, 2000 in Phoenix. She was 80. McCrary moved to Naco where she met and married Joseph McCrary. They moved to Buckeye in 1957 and raised a large family, which now includes 25 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. She was devoted to her church and a member of the Guadalupanas. McCrary is survived by: her daughters, Mary Francis Rosales, Dora Yanez and Estella DeMiguel; sons, Joe and Eddie; sisters, Armida Rohrback, Alissa Benevidez, Lisa Escalante and Dolores Soqui; brothers, Eliosar Mayoral, Ignacio Mayoral and Jose Mayoral. Rosary at St. Henry Catholic Church and funeral mass was celebrated at St. John Vianney Catholic Church. McCrary was buried in the Louis B. Hazelton cemetery near her late husband, who died in 1982. Buckeye Funeral Home made the arrangements.
