SHAFFER, Russel William

West Valley View March 1, 2000 Services were held in Boulder, Colo. for Russel William Shaffer, 86, of Litchfield Park, who died February 15, 2000. Born in Wichita, Kansas, Shaffer owned and operated two radio stations in Boulder, Colo.: KBOL and KBVL. He moved to Arizona in 1988. He was a veteran of World War II in the Navy for three years. He is survived by his wife, Ann; sons, Steve, Rusty and Jeff; brother, Bob; and five grandchildren. Crist Mortuary (Boulder, Colo.) made the arrangements.
