Silver Creek Mortuary, Taylor, Arizona Gary Ross Franks (September 9, 1951 - January 26, 2015) Gary Ross Franks passed away 1-26-2015, He was born 9-9-1951 in Pomona, California to Glen and Judy Franks. Gary married Irene Rene’ DeHart on 10/05/2001. They lived in Yuma and then moved to Show Low, where Gary and Irene enjoyed the beautiful weather and the people who crossed Gary’s path. Everyone who knew him, knew his passion for cooking and wanted to feed you and make sure you were full. He looked forward to his 5 o’clock cocktail, and sharing his hospitality. He had enjoyed being part of the Show Low Community Garden and all the friends he made while volunteering, growing vegetables, he became the Honorary Master Gardner. He shared his passion for hunting and grooming the next generation of family members, even the girls got involved in dove hunting, Gary enjoyed traveling, one of his favorite places to go was to Mexico and having a bucket of clams and walking on the ocean beaches. Gary received a certificate of loyalty and dedication for 5 years of service at Navajo County Gary received Associate in Arts Degree at Arizona Western College 1972 Paralegal /Legal Assistance Certificate at Phoenix College 1991 Gary is survived by his parents Glen and Judy Franks of Yuma, his twin sister Vicki (Jim) Kerley of Yuma, Brother Glyn L Franks of California, Two sons, Adam (Crystal) Franks of Spokane, WA, Joshua Franks of Spokane, WA. Two Granddaughters, Jaden Franks and Addison Franks Nieces and Nephews: Glyndon Gary Abraham Franks, J. Rebecca Hutchins, Ruth Franks Great nieces and nephews: Whitney (Jared) Christensen, Allison Hutchins, Justin Hutchins Great-Great nieces: Madison and Regan Christensen.
