RAMIREZ, Joseph (Joey) Raymond

Arizona Silver Belt, Globe, Arizona, Tuesday, January 27, 2015 Joseph Raymond Ramirez, age 71, of Miami, Ariz. passed away on Friday, Jan. 9, 2015 in Globe, Ariz. He was born in Globe, Ariz. on Oct. 8, 1943 the son of Maximiliano and Angelina Ramirez. He was a loving son, brother, father, uncle, grandfather and friend. He graduated in 1964 from Globe High School. He was an athlete, playing football and basketball. He enjoyed doing upholstery work and painting cars. He loved artwork (drawings), woodworking and working and fixing his own car. He maintained apartments in Phoenix for a few years. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with his friends. Joey was preceded in death by his father, Max; his mother, Angelina; his sisters, Rachael Garcia and Pauline Ramirez; and his brother, Frankie Ramirez. Joey is survived by his sons, John Ramirez of Globe, Ariz., Joey Ramirez (Connie) of Phoenix, Ariz., Chris Ramirez (Amanda) of Phoenix, Ariz. and Brandon Ramirez (Delia) of Phoenix, Ariz.; his daughters Yvonne Ortega (Mike) of Globe, Ariz., and Yvette Angulo (John) of Globe; his sister-in-law Betty Ramirez of Miami, Ariz. and 16 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
