STAHL, Randall Perry


State Journal-Register (Springfield IL) Thursday, January 29, 2015 Randall Perry "Randy" Stahl, 61, of Bullhead City, Ariz., and formerly of Athens, Ill., and Springfield, Ill., died Saturday, Jan. 24, 2015, at Western Arizona Regional Medical Center in Bullhead City. He was born in Springfield on Jan. 4, 1954, to Leonell P. and Joyce Tucker Stahl; both deceased. He married Connie Bryant Hopwood on Aug. 18, 1998, and she survives. Randy was employed as a truck driver and warehouseman for 29 years at Bunn Capitol/Capital City Paper Company. He enjoyed playing slot machines, NASCAR and the St. Louis Cardinals. His greatest passion was bowling, and he bowled for several years on various teams in Springfield. Also surviving are a stepson, Tyler Hopwood (fiancée, Savannah Goble); grandson, Sheldon Hopwood, all of Claremont, Ill; three nephews; several aunts, uncles and cousins; and his four-legged best friend, Ozzie. Cremation was accorded by Dimond & Sons in Bullhead City. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
