Services were held March 3, 2000, for Evelina Chavez, 49, of Goodyear.  She died February 28, 2000.

Mrs. Chavez was born in Mexico and was a seamstress.

She is survived by her sons, Victor Mendoza, Heriberto Mendoza and Daniel Mendoza; sisters, Rosa and Gloria; brothers, Rigoberto and Belen; and eight grandchildren.

Adobe Chapel Funeral Home made the arrangements.
