Vining Funeral Home, Safford, Arizona Micky James Edmunds August 12, 1974 - January 28, 2015 Micky Edmunds, age 40, of Thatcher, formerly of York, Nebraska, entered into rest Wednesday evening, January 28, 2015. Micky James Edmunds, born in York, Nebraska on August 12, 1974. He graduated from York High School in 1992 and from Southeast Community College/Milford with an Associates degree. Micky's passion for music and motorcycles brought him great joy in life. He was a son, brother, grandson, nephew and his favorite title, Uncle that was loved dearly by his family, who always remains hopeful. Their faith in God sustained them in their hope, just as it still does. As we now know Mick has found the true peace he was searching for in this life. He was welcomed into heaven by: his precious nephew, Kaden James Lage; an aunt Jackie Kaiser; his grandfather James Kaiser & Paul Marley; and his great-grandparents Erwin & Florence Light and August & Emma Kaiser. Left to keep his memory alive are: his parents, Terry Edmunds and LouAnn Bieck; Granny & Grandad, Les & Rowena Batterton; grandparents, Betty Seilhan (John), Charles Edmunds (Mary); a brother, T.J. Edmunds; and a sister, Melissa Lage (Trent); and his beloved nieces and nephew, Maelin, Renna and Seger Lage; an aunt, Sherri who he endearingly called “Dewy” (Moe) Scott; his special-friend, Deena Churchhill and her son, Gabe. Mick will also be forever remembered by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and dear friends. Funeral services for Mick are currently pending and will be announced at a later date.
