Vining Funeral Home, Safford, Arizona Donald Pearson June 17, 1930 - January 22, 2015 Donald Willis Pearson, of Albuquerque, New Mexico, and formerly of Safford, a loving husband, father, and grandfather, passed away surrounded by loved ones after losing his battle to cancer on Thursday, January 22, 2015. He was 84. Donald is survived by: his loving wife, Betty Ruth Jensen; four children, Beth Tuckfield (Cary), Cody Pearson (Julie Ash), Cory Pearson and Lori Smith (Kevin); 16 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren and four siblings. Graveside services for Donald will be conducted Sunday, February 1, 2015, at 10:00 a.m., in the Safford Cemetery, with military honors being conferred by the Gila Valley Veterans' Honor Guard. The family has requested that contributions may be made to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Humanitarian Aid Fund.
