RASMUSSEN, Ervin Borge (Pastor)

The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona Wednesday, February 19, 2014 Pastor Ervin Borge Rasmussen, former executive director of the Lutheran Evangelism Association/Prayer Family International, went home to his Lord and Savior on Feb. 12. He was born June 18, 1928 to Martin and Wilhelmina Rasmussen in Milwaukee, Wisc. Both his parents and his sister Emily preceded him to heaven. He is survived by his wife Beverly and children Beth (Jerry) Lowery of Phoenix; Marty (Kim) Rasmussen of Albuquerque, N.M.; Rev. Christian Rasmussen of Brighton, Colo.; and Thea (William) Rappuhn of White House, Tenn.; and grandchildren Jacob and Noah Rasmussen of Albuquerque, N.M., and Jaxon and Danielle Rappuhn of White House, Tenn. A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. this Sunday (Feb. 23) at Christ Church Lutheran, 3901 E. Indian School Rd. in Phoenix. Arrangements are entrusted to Whitney and Murphy Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Christ Lutheran School Scholarship Fund or Hospice of the Valley.
