GONZALES, FIdel C.

The Arizona Republic February 11, 2004 Fidel C. Gonzales, 80, passed away on February 8, 2004. He was born & raised in St. Johns, AZ. He was a WWII Army Veteran and served in the pacific as a combat medic. He was a recipient of the Purple Heart, a silver star, and 2 bronze stars. He worked for the Arizona State Highway Dept. for 35 years as an engineer. He is survived by his wife Mary L.J.C., sons Abe L., Richard L. & Timothy L. Gonzales; daughters Diana J. Plaza & Sandra J. Navarro; sisters Martha Casey & Bonnie Gallagher, brother Trinidad Gonzales, 20 grandchildren, 25 1/2 great grandchildren, & many family & friends. Burial at East Resthaven Park Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Lowmans Arizona Funeral Home.
