HOENIG, Maryanna

The Arizona Republic February 11, 2004 Maryanna Hoenig, age 82, passed away on February 6, 2004. Maryanna was born on the 26th day of July 1921 in Akron, Ohio. She lived in Phoenix since 1960. Celebration of her life was at St. Frances Xavier Church, 4715 North Central Ave., Phoenix. Maryanna was known as "Mica" to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Survivors include her sister, Lee Stout of Newport News, Virginia; daughters Maryann Ray of Phoenix, Stephanie Pollard of Ashland, Oregon, Melanie Kolbert and Roxanna Mathis of Tucson; grandchildren Rachael Ray, David Mathis, Brittany Mathis, Kimberly Kolbert, Mark and Matthew Kolbert; and great grandchildren Nicholas and Chelsea Hohenstein.
