RAYMOND, Virgil E.

The Arizona Republic February 22, 2004 Virgil E. Raymond, 76, of Phoenix passed on 2/19/04 to his home in heaven. Born in Floyd, Iowa on 2/27/27 Proud WWII Navy Veteran Owner of Raymond Glass Co. in New Brighton, Minn. Retired to Phoenix in 1979. Virgil had the gift of gab, but it was taken from him in his 5 year battle with cancer. He was preceeded in death by his daughter, Randi Leyk. He will be greatly missed by his loving wife of 58 yrs, Rose Marie, daughter Robin, granddaughters Brittney Leyk and Mandi Hollom, son-in-laws Mike Delon and Rodney Leyk, brothers Robert (Lorraine) Raymond & Harold (Myra) Raymond and many nieces and nephews. Memorial service was held at Our Lady of the Valley Church 3320 West Greenway Rd., Phoenix.
