STEIGER, Arthur Everett

The Arizona Republic February 22, 2004 Arthur Everett Steiger Sr. age 88, passed away on February 16, 2004. He is survived by sons Norman, Ronald, Art Jr., and John, and by a sister, Florence Scheich. He was preceded in death by brothers Norman and Kenneth and sister Marie Graver. His wife of 56 years, Helen, passed away in July 1999. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corp in China dining WWII. He was born in Columbus, Ohio, and moved to Arizona in 1945. He worked in Wholesale Pharmaceutical sales and customer service, retiring after 31 years. A Memorial Service was held in Phoenix at Concordia Evangelical Lutheran Church. Funeral services were held at South Lawn Cemetery in Tucson, AZ.
