VILLAVERDE, John

The Arizona Republic February 23, 2004 John Villaverde, 74, of Phoenix, Arizona was born on January 27, 1930. He passed away on February 19, 2004, with all his children at his side. He was the father of nine children, Pearl Mada, Barbara Ortiz, Virginia Riveras, Sandra Barrios, Mary Martha Rodela, John Jr., Ernest, Beatrice Valencia and Richard. He was also grandfather of 27, great grandfather of 15, and brother to Daniel Villaverde, Jim Hidalgo, and Angela Gastelo. A visitation was held at Resthaven Park Mortuary 4310 E. Southern Ave. with a rosary. Mass at Saint Edwards Catholic Church 4410 E. Southern Ave with interment at Saint Francis Cemetery.
