WIEN, Linda M.

The Arizona Republic December 16, 1964, p. 87 Mrs. Linda M. Wien, 77, died Dec. 15, 1964, in her Phoenix home. She moved to Arizona in a covered wagon in 1900 from Louisiana. She was born in Rocky Mount, Louisiana. She was a member of the Church of the Nazarene. She first resided in Texas Canyon near Benson and later moved to Tucson where her late husband, Al, and son, Al, Jr., served on the police force. She moved to Phoenix in 1961. Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Holman Brooks and Mrs. Helen Kennidy, both of Phoenix; and Mrs. Paul Robinson and Mrs. J. D. Kaiser, both of Tucson; a brother, Jack Giles of Pearce; 17 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren. Services were held in the Adair Funeral Home in Tucson. Mercer Mortuary. Burial in Evergreen Cemetery.
