The Arizona Republic December 16, 1964 Edgar S. McDowell, 61, a machinist for Holsum Bakery 27 years, died Tuesday, December 15, 1964. Mr. McDowell, 2105 E. Sheridan, was born in Idaho. He moved to Tucson 48 years ago from Idaho. He is survived by his wife, Rosalind; two daughters, Mrs. Arloween Wilder and Mrs. Tena Goostree, both of Phoenix; three brothers, David of Tucson, George of Winterhaven, CA, and Paul of Pueblo, CO; and five grandchildren. Services in Mortensen-Kings Funeral Center. Burial in Greenwood Memorial Park. The AZ Republic Dec. 16, 1964, p. 87.
