The Arizona Republic December 16, 1964, p.87 George P. Swenning, 80, a former pharmacist at Litchfield Park, died Tuesday, Dec. 14, 1964, in his home at 1331 E. Indianola. Mr. Swenning moved here 20 years ago from Sheldon, Iowa. He was born in Doon, Iowa. Survivors include his wife, Stella D.; a son, Roger P. of Phoenix; two sisters out of state and six grandchildren. Rosary in Paradise Chapel, 3934 E. Indian School. Requiem Mass in St. Francis Xavier Church, 4715 N. Central. Burial in St. Francis Cemetery.
