The Arizona Republic December 16, 1964 Glendale -- Mrs. Rosa B. Wells, 80, who moved to Glendale 54 years ago, died Tuesday, December 15, 1964, in St. Joseph's Hospital at Nogales. Mrs. Wells also resided in Kirkland. She returned to Glendale in 1957. The past two years she had lived with a daughter in Patagonia. She was born in Indiana. Survived by three sons, Howard E. of Phoenix, Vergil E. of Wikieup, and Glen D. of Monterey, California; a daughter, Mrs. Wilma Schul of Patagonia; two sisters, Mrs. Allie Green of Ft. Bragg, California, and Mrs. Lilly Edgcombe of Kansas City, Missouri; a brother, Charley Duncan of Missouri; nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Services in Lundberg's Chapel of the Chimes, 5852 W. Glenn Dr., the Rev. Paul Hall officiating. Burial in Resthaven Park.
