STANERSON, Juanita

The AZ Republic February 15-18, 2004 Juanita Stanerson, of Mesa, AZ, passed away unexpectedly at the age of 79 on Thursday, February 12, 2004. Juanita was born in Jewel, Iowa, March 19, 1924. On June 6, 1942 she married Max Stanerson in Waynesville, Missouri. Juanita and her husband farmed in Iowa for 35 years before retiring to Arizona in 1980. She was a farm wife who, through her support, created very strong family values. Her husband of 49 years, Max Stanerson, and her brothers, Williard, Herman and Lonnie, preceded her in death. Her sisters Lavinia of Phoenix, AZ and Dena of Clinton, IA survive her as well as her sons Dennis Stanerson of Scottsdale, AZ, Max Stanerson of Tucson, AZ and daughters Jean Duffy of Scottsdale, AZ and Kelcy Benscoter of Marshalltown, IA. She leaves behind 11 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Juanita was deeply loved and will be forever missed. Services at the Valley of the Sun Memorial Park in Chandler, AZ.
