COLELAY, Anita LaRee (Schwee)

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 02/10/2015 Anita LaRee (Hawkins) Colelay, aka Schwee, died in the early morning hours Feb. 2, 2015, at Hospice of the Valley in Mesa. She was born Jan. 2, 1979, at Phoenix Indian Medical Center. For 14 years, she was married to the late Telajo Mono Colelay. During her youth, she attended East Fork Mission and Southwest Indian School. Schwee enjoyed being outdoors, socializing, fishing, playing softball, basketball and cooking; however, one of Schwee’s favorite things to do was to be with family and friends. Schwee had a funny sense of humor and a unique laugh which made it very easy for her to make friends, wherever she was. Schwee is survived by two beautiful daughters, Charmaine Arnita Colelay and Anesia Rae Colelay, and brothers Alvin Hawkins, Ronald Hawkins, Alvino Hawkins Jr. and Randy Nathan Hawkins. A wake was held Feb. 5, at 5604 Clay Drive in East Fork. Burial followed at the Whiteriver Cemetery.
