AKERS, Mary A.

The Arizona Republic August 1, 2004 Mary A. Akers, 97, of Phoenix, was born in Lehigh, Wisconsin, Oct. 6, 1906, and left us peacefully on July 21st 2004. Mary was preceded in death by her ten brothers and sisters and her son Donald Kowitz. In years past Mary was active in the VFW, Holy Name Society and volunteered at the local elementary school. She is survived by her son Jerry Kowitz, 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Arrangements, Best Mortuary. Private services, Saint Francis Cemetery.
