The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona, Thursday, February 12, 2015 Betty Ratliff, 90, of Chino Valley, Arizona, passed away on Feb. 10, 2015. Betty was born Sept. 19, 1924, in Colorado Springs, Colorado, to Glen and Dixie (Jones) McClure. Betty had many hobbies but most of all enjoyed being a mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband of 57 years, Melvin Ratliff. She is survived by her son Dave (Kathleen) Ratliff of Coralville, Iowa; daughter Shirley Vaden of Prescott, Arizona; grandchildren Eric, Brad and Renee Ratliff of Iowa, Vince, Wes Vaden and Betty Bernardoni of Arizona; and great-grandchildren Jacob Ratliff of Iowa, Cody, Nathan, Anelise, Auron, and Paiten of Arizona. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 13, 2015, at Grace Baptist Church, 2010 S. Highway 89, Chino Valley. Visitation is from 3 to 5 p.m. Feb. 12, 2015, at Hampton Funeral Home, 240 S. Cortez, Prescott. Arrangements were entrusted to Hampton Funeral Home. Information provided by survivors.
