Mrs. Madeline Cox died last week (November 1964) in Denver at the home of a sister whom she had been visiting for a month.
She was the widow of Walter Cox who was killed six years ago in a mining accident near Miami. She had lived in Globe for many years.
Survivors include three sons, Riley and David, both of Chandler, and Jackie of Pine Ridge, S.D.; two daughters, Mrs. Betty Jean Morris of Globe and Ruth Cox of Pine Ridge; two brothers, Gene Rooks of Tempe and Will Rooks of California; and three sisters, Mrs. Andre Price of Denver and Mrs. Zona Pounier and Mrs. Evelyn Pourie, both of South Dakota.
Graveside services at Gila County Memorial Gardens.
