Peter Banco, 76, passed away on Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at home after a two-year battle with lung cancer.

Peter was born in New Jersey and lived in various locations before settling in Fountain Hills with his wife of 21 years, Christine.

In addition to Christine, Peter is survived by a sister, Amilia Honey; three sons, Dino, Anthony and Loren; a daughter, Renee Daniels; two stepsons, Jeff and Robert Knudsen; a granddaughter, Maya Daniels; and step-grandchildren, Eric, John, Demitrie and Jon.

Peter served in the U.S. Navy and will be laid to rest with Military Honors at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona.

Arrangements entrusted to Messinger Fountain Hills Mortuary.
